I can see the pain in your words and I understand so very much what you're going through. I too, lost my best friend just a short time ago. My sweet Newfie girl, Splash, was only 5 years old...and I miss her every single day. Everything feels so empty without her...like it's just not complete. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know that you aren't alone and that many of us have walked or are walking in your shoes. I know that doesn't take the pain away, but it helps me a little to know that others understand.
I can't tell you yet that time will make you feel better, but I'm hoping that it will heal both of our hearts eventually. We'll get through this. Splash and Sargeant would never have wanted us to hurt...and we need to remember to be happy in honor of them!
