It's been a while NewfNet! Koda recently got spayed and I had to ask the vet if he was sure he operated on my girl because she acted like nothing happened! The bad news about all this was that since they shaved her belly, it itched and she used her back paws to create giant scabs on her belly. Those are now healing and she is doing fantastic. This girl needs to start eating more though, she has 20 pounds to gain before she catches her mom's weight and she looks skinny to me. I hope the spay surgery doesn't mess with her hormones and make her less hungry. She only eats 2 cups per day now. Anyway here she is in the cone of shame, but still with a big newfie grin!! :nod:
