Kayaking Adventure

We went kayaking on our town pond this morning. When we landed back at the beach, I thought I was seeing things. This guy was sitting at the edge of the water, guarding someone else's leftovers. We are pretty sure a bear killed something, and the eagle was working on his share. There were definite bear tracks on the beach.

These are not great pics as all I had was my iphone, but I'm glad I had something!

We went to NY one year and saw the same sight. I hope to see them one day in our area. Very majestic birds. They are making a slow and steady come back. I take it....it's not a normal sighting for you?

I second that. I would love to see pics of them. If a newf could be a cat to me that's what they would be.
