Just amazing

Brody the Newf

I brought Brody for his yearly appointment today and I was initially worried about bringing him inside. There were cats and dogs all over the place. I wasn't in the mood to have my shoulder dislocated by my crazed dog but the sun was hot and I didn't want Brody out in it.

I sighed and figured I better bring him in. No problems what so ever. He sniffed the air and just stood there with me while a little dog was walking near him. A cat came close to him and Brody ignored it.

In the examining room, I even kept the door open so Brody could watch what was going on while we waited for the vet. Not once did he pull on his leash.

When we were leaving, he walked up and gently sniffed the cat. The cat freaked out and swatted Brody's nose but he barley reacted.

He listened to all my commands like a dog that has been obeying for years. I know all Brody's NN trainers would be happy to hear how far he's come! I was so proud of my boy.

Fool you don't they

When you expect the big rush, they stay calm, when you least expect it, crazy Newf arrives.

I think they are just playing with our minds :new_smilie_colors1:

Well done, a new page has been turned

It is the Brody now that might get me forever hooked on Newfs. I was thinking about a different dog breed because Brody was too active and hyper for my taste.

I did learn that I'm not a puppy person:)
