I just got this from a friend and wanted to share. So with tears welling up in my eyes I had to try and figure out how to post a video

Well I hope this works.

Beautiful ...

Yesterday, I was in the car with the kids and we were talking about a group I have heard of that makes dog houses for dogs that have to live outside in the winter ... like habitat for humanity for dogs. And my kids didn't understand why any dogs would have to live outside. So I asked them if there was something different between dogs and other animals. No, they said, because they love all animals and know farmers can love their animals too. Then I asked why it seems ok that horses and cows and other farm animals live outside. They told me they have barns, but we thought about how there really is something different about dogs. While we couldn't put our fingers on it and articulate it, we knew they aren't just dogs ...

 :) :( :) :)......Very emotional

I sometimes what I would be like if i had never had dogs.....I think life without dogs (horses) would be bleak.........Especially seeing that most of my friends are dog or horse friends :)

Okey I am sitting her bawling, that was so beautiful. It is so true some people think it is just a dog, but it's not its our best friend.

That was really lovely and gave me chills. Thank you for sharing. I can remember lots of times when I've been blue or just not feeling so great and our animal (dog or cat) would come to lay beside me and I just felt better for some reason. One of the things I miss the most about our Bear is how much of a protector he was and how he knew when one of us was feeling bad. It's been a year now that he has gone and we still talk about him and a smile and a tear always happens.
