With all the talk about what is the best way to feed our furkids, I started to look at ingredients in ALL foods. Pet and human. I am trying to do the best I can by my fur kids and my family. So today I came home from the grocery stores (yes, storeS - I went to two places) and I was proud to show my husband what I got for the family.
Now, he hasn't been doing all the research and he kept asking me questions....in the realm of "Why?". I was able to answer why I bought free range meats, why the chicken was fed an only veggie diet and were never injected with antibiotics, why I tried to buy beef without the steriod injections. But I couldn't answer why I bought the organic fruit and veggies. There are so many conflicting studies on this, I was wondering if someone can tell me why organic is better. (or why it isn't).
BTW - This does involve my furkids, as they eat alot of what we eat! (yes they are counter surfers)
