My husband, a deacon in the Catholic church, does funerals. Did one yesterday. He always tells people a few important points. One of them is - don't let people tell you it will get better. It doesn't and it doesn't go away. You just learn to adjust. Take your time. Don't let anyone rush you. Don't forget to remember - remember the good stuff. It tends to blot out any bad.

Jeff it takes alot of time to reach the point you can love again. I am so glad you found another dog to love. Black and White are looking down on you. We lost Bear and Emma this past winter and every day I think about them and how much joy they brought to me. We never forget the ones who brought us so much happiness
