Is it bad luck....?

My wife wants me to get a license plate that says GOT NEWF, if its available...but I feel like its going to jinx me if I get the plate before getting the dog. I know it sounds stupid...but its worrying me... :icon_stupid:

I need a new license plate anyway since mine got damaged and the state will not replace a personalized plate with the same plate if it is damaged or stolen. So its either I get this or just think of something else...but I was thinking of something like "got paws" or "4 paws" or something, if they are not taken already. I was going to wait a while for the "got newf".

Me too. I would wait.

But I have to admit, I bought a whole lot of Newfie collectables and equipment while waiting for my first Newf. Of course, once he got here, I found a lot of my choices were not the best to had to replace some things.

But I think it's a good sign if the wife wants one. Just buy a T-shirt with that saying. It's a lot easier to get rid of if you don't need it.

I wish...a Newfie for me is still many months in the future. Thats why Im a bit apprehensive at the thought.

Mine is GOT*NWF
You can just have the DMV replace your plate, and once you have your newf, then change it. Mine was a Christmas gift the Hubber gave me after I bought my truck.

No need to rush things, enjoy each day, one at a time, and before you know it, you'll be up to your ankles in newf-fur.

Our new Plate is Newfs X 4. I turned in a set of Purple Heart Plates fot it. I say: "go 4 it." Of course that could be a plate 2. LOL!

You could look at it this way. Got Newf? That way if someone asks you about it they probably have one and you can get more Newf fixes that way until you get yours!!
