I'm worried

Sam is just not herself today. She is having trouble standing and walking as well as getting up. She is sleeping more and hardly doing her 'I want attention' bark. I hope she is just tired from her needed bath yesterday. She has not had any more potty accidents!!

Hugs to you both. Hoping it was just the bath, it probably takes a lot out of her and she will just need a little longer to recover.

Is she eating? Sending her a few hugs.
Oh yes she is eating anything I give her.

thanks for the replies. I'll let you know if she improves tomorrow. She is starting her 'I want something' bark tonight. I never thought I would be happy to hear a bark!!

I'm so glad she's barking and demanding attention from you again. Wouldn't it be great to speak to them in plain english, find out exactly what is going on with them? Sounds like she's getting back on track.

When I would bathe my old girls it would exhaust them for a day, so that could be it. As much as I tried to give lots of breaks and sit time, it still wore them out. I hope she bounces back tomorrow.

We're going by the barking, too. In fact, Echo has become rather demanding. "Feed Me" "I need to go out" "Move me" "I want a cookie". Hopefully the bath just exhausted her. We gave up bathing Echo, and I just sponge bathe her, especially her rear quarters, when needed.
