Hey guys, it has been sooooooo long since I was on NN, I have missed you all so much. I am moved in and had my first class today. So far I really like it up here.

MGoBlue, if you read this, I want you to know it has been pretty easy settelling in here since they hate U of M almost as much as Ohio State people do...heck, maybe even more... although they don't seem to be as creative in re-writing the words to the Michigan fight song as the Buckeye fans are....

So, anyone going to the GLNC water test next week?

I'm glad you're back and like it there, too.
The KU/K State rivalry is intense as is the one with Nebraska. There's a lot of "seriousness" about it around here, and we tease each other quite a bit in a variety of ways.

Remember to plot time for your own prefs, places to go, music,friends, etc. Cooking, reading for fun (what a concept!! ).hikes etc. Degree-work..tends to make folk..grit teeth..and narrow-focus. Be too sharp for that..ok? ;) Have a great time, ina n HB

Yes, the Sparties like to think that they are our biggest rivals, but we mostly save it for the Bucks. I imagine that knowing you're a Buckeye, the'd welcome you with open arms, though! lol...
I don't know OSU's alternate lyrics for "The Victors," but I do know that MSU's version is pretty lame.
If you're interested, I remember all of the alternate lyrics to both "Across the Field" and the "MSU Fight Song." Yeah, I remember them well! I definitely couldn't post them here, but I can PM you...

Tiff, I'd love to see them. And I also cannot post the "remix" version here...

Growing up in Detroit, I never even heard of OSU, the playground taunts were all between U of M and State. You must get the indoc about OSU when you go off to college...

And for the record, I think MSU's fight song is pretty lame. Of course, I have only heard it at the dueling piano bar, so...maybe it's better when the band plays it...sigh...
