Hi Dogger! I'm not Jeannie, but you should try Dayton, and possibly Columbus. Dayton is the closest to Jeannie's and just about any of us in this area could pick you up if needed.

Susan is right. But you may want to check Indianapolis too because the rates there are usually less expensive.

Dayton is about 35 minutes from my house, Indianapolis about 2 hours and Columbus about 2 1/2 hours. Cincinnati is about 2 1/2 hours.

I'd definitely check Indinapolis. It's an easy drive to Jeannie's.... and you'll probably save lots of $$$.

Indianapolis is alway cheaper. My brother lives near Spokane and they always fly in/out of Indy because of the fair. Some times it can be up to $100 cheaper. I will send everyone maps to my house when I get the registration forms. Russell is still working to get them online.

Yeah... my nephew flew to Las Vegas last summer, and they saved btw $200-250, plus, he was able to get a straight through flight which is alot less hassle!

K, I am lookin' at Dayton, it is only 324 round trip I would be there Thursday night about 9:00, figure in gettin a car, hotel.. tranquilizers to get me on the plane... I really hate to fly... So, ok, maybe a hire a car from the airport to the hotel.
Oh!!! I am so going.. I think Verizon Wireless can woman the phones without me for 2 flippin days.. Thursday and Friday ok, 3 I will need monday as well to recoop..
What about room sharing, does anyone want to double up at the hotel????

i plan on camping out at the fairgrounds, only becouse i will have six newfs, i dont know how well that will go over at a motel! LOL

Liz, as far as I know. Brian actually really wants to come, but in reality someone has to stay with the girls. We just cannot board Baby, she would fall apart. I am trying to talk my mom into coming, just because I am paralized at the thought of flying much less alone.
But anyway, that would be great!!!!! I can't make travel plans yet as I have not started my job, but I will keep you posted...I am just so excited!!!! I am giving up a ya-ya trip for this (yes, same clan from the bachelorette party)

You're giving up a ya-ya trip??? Wow - I don't know about everyone else, but I feel truly honored. For those of you who weren't around yet for the infamous bachelorette party (lasted 3 days if memory serves???), ask her about it.
