Hunger Games

I went to see Hunger Games with my daughter, and grandson last night. I think it is the best show I have watched in awhile. Very exciting!

Oh good. I just read all three books this weekend, and I was slightly terrified to see the movie. Sometimes a movie or show can just ruin a fantastic book. From what I can see from the previews, the casting was pretty well done.

My 14 year old niece gave me the books to read last summer, we all went and saw it opening night. I really enjoyed it. My niece did too but then proceeded to complain how they left out specific dialogue - she wanted it to be the book line for line. I think she has it memorized (along with Twilight and the Shiver books). Of course that's not how movie adaptations of a book go...
I only hope I don't have to wait more than a year to see the next one. I give it two thumbs up!
