How to dump your rider

Ok Katlin still seems to think since she cant have a pony the dogs will fill the gill. The other night she was determined once again to try to ride Tily. She got up on Tily's back right behind her front shoulders (right where you'd sit on a horse) and gripped with her legs and said giddy up. Tily sat down, Katlin maintained her seat by holding Tily around the neck (at this point DH & I were just laughing histaricoly) and she kept telling Tily giddy up. Tily ever so gently while staying in a sitting position tipped her head down til the top of it touched thr ground and Katlin slide down over her head and off. then Tily stood up and walked away!!!I'm sure she hasnt completely discouraged Katlin yet. Katlin is just coming up with a new approach!

I'm sure this was very cute! I do hope that you are taking steps to teach Katlin that she could really hurt her friend Tily, by doing this. Especially since she seems adamant about her venture.

LOL,
Great visual. Charlotte has never expressed interest in riding my Newfs. She'd rather just pounce on them. We have ground rules about it: no pouncing on a sleeping Newf is our biggest one, and no running start is another.

Most everyone who has children, when they meet Tulsa, will tell them that they could saddle Tulsa and ride him. Not.
