How long after breeding two dogs

So how long after breeding two dogs together do you know if they are pregnant? I am supposed to check back with the breeder -- but I do not want to bug her if it is too early. Thanks.

Between 28 and 34 days is usually when the breeder will know if her bitch is pregnant. At that time, the vet can palpate and do an ultrasound to see if she is pregnant and possibly how many pups there are.

Tina, hang in there! The waiting is the worst. Especially when you know the puppies have been born, but you still aren't sure whether one of those cute furballs will be coming home to you! I'll have my fingers crossed for you!
