I was just reading of the horses that need to be rescued because of Hurricane Ike and there is a wonderful facility down there that needs money desperately. All thier shelters have been leveled and they are right now working night and day to rescue horses and cattle. You can donate right online http://www.habitatforhorses.org/getinvolved/donatenow.html
I couldnt afford much either right now but if everyone gave even $10.00
it could be a lifesaver. They said every dime will go to the animals. :grouphug:

I will donate even though I don't have a horse. I LOVE horses and have always wanted one so I will help in any way I can!

I along with my family are members of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association who had to cancel our Fall Board meeting in Tyler, TX to get their butts down there and assist our South Texas ranchers with their livestock. Here's more information on how to help...
