Hodgepodge Puppy Pics of the 4

This is a hodgepodge of links for the puppy pics I have been taking.

3 of the 4 have great homes and go the middle to end of January. 2 are going to Southern Cali and one to Arizona.

I caught this pic yesterday and wish I had more then a quick second to take it to zoom in. Myla was giving him a long talk and love session.

All the puppies, Blue, Myla, CB and the folks Min Pin they adopted from us have been having fun romping outside when it's warm enough.

The puppies are roughly 6 1/2 weeks old now. They are sitting (not necessarily staying yet lol) and are getting bigger each day. I swear they have doubled weight since they got dewormed.

It's been good and no problems ths far. Blue just stays away from the puppies since he can;t stand them. He has learned to just get up and walk away if they bug him and they have pretty much left him alone noticing he is not their biggest fan. Blue hates them until about 7-8 months old then tollerates a puppy and finally acknowledges their presence at around a year old and he is finally playing with CB.

Weaning them was not so much fun, NOT. But they are fially eating dry solid food, YEAH! (Makes clean-up easier too whew!)

The white one is Iris (newly named Fern from her new mom adotping her), The Landseerish with a black spot on the head is Leon, the other Landseerish one is Kyler and Jake is the black one.

They all love dogs, cats, and most of all people. Only 1 Alpha type personality (only with the canines not with people).

Would I ever take on puppies this young again? Would depend on if we were a last resort. I was lucky to have the time to raise them right now. Who knew how expensive puppy formula was either OMGGGG! I kept Walmart in business with just my business LOL

That little Iris (Fern) reminds me so much of my love for my Pyr., if I didn't already have a houseful I'd have been begging for her. I'm glad they're all finding wonderful homes. I'm sure it was hard, yet rewarding work. Good luck to them all...and to you as well on your next adventure (whatever it may be)

Believe me, it's hard looking at them every day LOL They are starting to form their personalities and I love it. Each one is so different. But one went to a NNer so I get to see updates. (Though I know her from another board) One is still staying with us for now. The other two I will just keep in contact with. None are too far away.

I have never mopped and cleaned and done laundry 24/7 as much in my life as now. I think I am going to have a relaxing bath, crank the music and pop open a bottle of bubbly when they go LOL

Next I get them used to collars and leashes. That should be fun...

The video of Iris takes the cake with her "sit". Guess I never realized they can learn so young. Also makes it harder to individually train abit with the 3 horses, 2 woofers, our 3 dogs and 2 cats to take care of whew. (Tortoise is hibernating thank goodness to give me a break hehe)

Jenn, I notices that you said that one pup is going to AZ, and you live in NV. How do you deal with summer? Is pool a must? Cause we will probably be going to AZ within next 1-5 years.

Beautiful pups, just totally adorable. Were they rescues?

Oh my gosh, they are all so cute.
I would think it will be very hard to see them go.

It will indeed be sad to see them go. These guys have been my life since they came into our lives. Yes they are rescues.

Some parts of Arizona are quite cool and where Kyler is going. But in the heat of Vegas most have pools and air conditioning the Newfs hang out in.

We have a huge 10x12 foot air conditioned dog house for when we aren't home for them. But we re lucky when the sun goes down out here it gets cool. Unlike Vegas that stays hot 24/7 in the summer. And have the big doggie pools out for them as well. We will be putting up misters for all the animals as well.

But since I will be working out of our home I won't be gone too often. I will schedule the training sessions during mornings if I can.

What great pictures. You've done a wonderful job, & you deserve a spa day, and a bottle of bubbly.

Jenn has been thru heavon and heck with these guys, guiding her thru and giving advice was great, but, she also learned many lessons, one of wich, this is so much work, you dont get much sleep and even when sick you must be up and at em, no matter how sick you are.
they do not rest for you.
it is more work than anyone who has never done this before can imagine.
The time and work and tears and frustration, the joys and the parting, all are full of emotions.
anyone who wants to have a litter to experience it for their kids is living a pipe dream, they have no clue what is involved and what can happen, the time and expense and the sacrifice of even having an inckling of a life, for yourself, it is non existant when these guys are involved.
Good job jenn! you survived the harrowing experience!
