My name is Katie. We currently have 2 dogs, a golden named Archer and a Brittany mix named Lottie. We also have 1 cat and 1 current foster cat. I fell in love with the Newfie temperment and have decided to add a puppy to the family as soon as we can find the right pup from the perfect reputable breeder. I hope to get involved with drafting and show and possibly breeding with mentorship. Right now I'm not so patiently waiting and trying to fight back the puppy fever :wave:

I have contacted them before and they did tell me about a show that I was able to attend. It was heaven! There were at least 30 Newfs and even a 4 month old pup that was in the bleachers. I'm not sure how to get involved with the club more though. I'm currently looking at a pup from Royal Flush (http://www.royalflushnewfs.com/our-dogs-photo-gallery.html), or possibly from a breeder that Edie is mentoring.

We have a golden and a newfie too.
Very exciting that you are getting a new pup - hard to wait though!
Look forward to hearing all about the process and seeing lots and lots of pictures!

Hi from the uk, word of warning with newfie temperament. It comes from lots of training and hard work and we dont jokingly call our girls the hellraisers without having many reasons.

I am glad you are doing your research as these are great furkids but not easy.

Calamity is a lovely girl :) such a love. Is that the same litter as Cate is out of? She was quite the little clown, and very happy. I'd love one of her puppies.

Hi! AshersMom I see you and I post frequently on GR Forum :D I am too, looking to add a newfie to my clan of 1 sometime in the near future. I saw a FL newfie member on here SOMEWHERE and I was trying to find her so I could ask how her Newf accomodates to FL weather
