As Jeannie noted, her Chase and my Elwood turned thirteen today!!!! Considering the list of what isn’t wrong with my boy is shorter than the list of what is, I am so lucky he’s doing so well! He’s happy and has the best outlook on life! Despite rear end weakness compounded by elbow displaysia (and incessant barking at night - goober!)we’ve only got the front half of the Help Em Up Harness on. Today we celebrated with an ice cream cone, mini cupcakes, and steak for him and his sister Daisy. So. We’re all sending love to Chase, and we’re glad you still have your tail, Gorgeous!!!

Happy birthday to Elwood. Since they are siblings it amazes me how Elwood has many health problems when Chase has none. Hope he is getting along OK. I'm looking forward to them celebrating 14 together.

I’m relieved Chase is so healthy. I remember that when you got her she had GI issues and when we got Elwood he was fine. Then it was elbow displaysia (the worst the ortho had ever seen), a heart murmur (never troubled him), chronic ear infection (kept at bay when we’re diligent in cleaning), irritable bowel syndrome, then Lar Par and a malignant tumor on his ribs (operated on at the same time). Through all of this he’s been a great dog - and such a character. I’m hoping to figure out how to post video so you can see what a goofball he is!

Yes she had giardia when I got her. (Something the breeder said was impossible) Chase's hips are so bad they didn't even get a "fair". I've never told her she has bad hips. I'm quite surprised she is still strong her her rear end.
