Saturday results in spite of cold rainy windy conditions, we had five WRDX entries with no passes. Out of 18 Junior entries we had two that passed, CH Darbydale's G-Man (Jake to his friends) and Shelby, DD (look for her story in Rescue, it's fantastic).
Sunday results with overcast, misty cold windy conditions we had 10 entries with two passes, CH Amity's Force of Nature, CD, DD, CDX WD (Floyd to his friends) which earned him his VN title and a requalifier VN AM/CAN CH Kilyka's Lagniappe Pro Zack, UD, TDD WRDX.
In spite of the weather, I think everyone had a good time. Needless to say Benson and I are going to be at North Central's test next week-end. Hope to see some of you there!
I heard the weather should be a little warmer (I hope, I hope, I hope).

Well Sue ... I hate to be selfish but I sure am glad we'll get to see you and Benson. And the weather is supposed to be beautiful!

Anybody know how Carol Giffhorn and Finale didon WRDX? Obviously, she didn't pass, I was just wondering what she failed on. I've been going out and helping her with the training, and was just curious.

It doesn't sound like too many. All you seem to hear about are the failures. She's headed to Texas with Shenanigans in a week or two. Hope she fares better down there.

The hardest WRDX exercise is the multiple victim rescue. I trained with two of the dogs entered and witnessed them do this exercise flawlessly. Then on test day, they jump the boat and swim to shore. I think that was the exercise that Finale failed as well.
It still was awesome to watch them. It really takes a lot of work and extra effort to train for this level.
Looking forward to seeing you guys this week-end. I still haven't warmed up so glad to hear the weather is suppose to be better.

The 3 man retrieve is what we've been working on with Finale. She's always been a little "iffy" on it, but I was hoping she'd surprise us.

Thank you Donna for that clarification. I just got the official results and had left out two other WD qualitifers. They are:

Roger Danielson and Jelly (Ch Bright Star's Rigel of Blkwt)
