It said no cats or small dogs ( or rodent type pets). Says okay with large dogs. She must have a prey drive....

I fostered this girl and her sister for a couple of weeks for SCNC. I rarely foster but it was urgent that these two get moved ASAP. She is a great girl with other dogs but cannot be around little dogs. Her name is Cami. Whoever gets her is going to have a great dog. Her sister has already been adopted.

Do Rescues only adopt out to in-state residents?

It really depends on the rescue. With a good network of home checks, some will!

SCNR does adopt outside of our area, however we do require that the adopting family come and get the Newf themselves. We do not allow transports as we feel its important for us and/or the foster family to meet the adoptive family in person. It helps with the transition tremendously.
