This is the face of a big fraidy cat. He is scared to go to the basement (even though it is finished) so when I go down he sits at the top of the stairs and whines. Such a goon. I think he is afraid I won't come back from the abyss. :groovy:

For those of you who don't know Tonka is 5. He was rescued by Newf Friends when he and his brother were basically surrendered to us by a farmer who could not comprehend that Newfs are not farm dogs. I was only supposed to be part of an overnight on transport to his foster home. That was 2 1/2 months ago. He is the sweetest dog. A baby.. Charms the neighborhood. Quiet and loving. I am lucky. And yes... he is Velcro. I gained 145lbs when he came to me as he does not like me to be too far away. He is lazy.. LOL Adam adores him as well. And get this.. he doesn't even snore. :beer:

Awwww. I bet he will like the basement once he realises it is cooler! Obi often sneeks downstairs but he is a velcro boy too.

Tonka is such a handsome little man - he has the sweetest face. poor little guy misses you when you are out of his sight.

has his brother been adopted?
