Gone to the dogs!

I have come to terms with the fact that Maggie runs the house. As much as I try to deny it, I can't anymore. I have just spent the past few hours on the phone rearranging vacation plans (prebooked hotels and attracton tickets) because our kennel was booked for our travel dates. Who would have thought I needed to make the dogs reservations before ours?? Well, I do NOW! If the man who runs this place ever retires, I will never be able to go on vacation again. I just love this place, he is so good to the puppers and Maggie just loves him.
Was so lucky to have such kind people on the phone to deal with. Everyone was so helpful and understood our situation. Haa haa. Guess I got a hold of people who love their dogs as much as we do. Either that or they were scared I would bring the Newf with me! haa haa haa!

We don't use a kennel with 9 but we do always check with the pet sitter first.

Maybe that's why we haven't had a vacation since we got Morgan. All of our trips include her. Like a daughter I never had!

UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM vacation..whats that???? havent been on 1 in atleast 7 yrs...........cant take, well it was 5 now 4 with us so we stay home and vacation in the back yard.............yea Im a nut .........i wont go away and leave my dogs but thats OK........maybe 1 day. lol

I'm lucky. My kids are 20 and 22, and my ex husband lives nearby, and they all help when hubby and I travel. Which is as frequently as possible! The only thing I don't appreciate is when I come home and they tell me, "The dogs didn't get us up once at night, Mom!" and they wake me up EVERY night. :grrr:
