Fundraiser: Teri and Eric Ratzlaff

Many folks know of Teri through the various Newf boards. She and Eric also set up a Newf rescue in Idaho. Both Teri and Eric were in a bad accident on Sunday.

We wanted to set up a fund, raising capital for expenses occurred due to the accident. If anything is over what they would need, they plan on putting it towards newf rescue.

We are selling:

1- Newf T-shirts with the original artwork by our own Cindy Williams -$20 USD S-XL; XXL $23

2- 2 different sets of note cards (Rudy/ Puppies); 10 note cards per box with a blank inside- $15 USD/ box

Shipping in the continental US would be free. Shipping to other countries would be an additional $5 USD per total order to cover the extra cost (Please add the additional shipping under donations)

Dani was kind enough to set up a section on his site to take the orders. Credit cards can be processed there. For pictures, the items are showcased on the front page.

FYI. It goes to a business site. Dani has offered us to run the orders through his business site so that we can take credit cards and paypal. The orders are marked specifically for this purpose.

You can choose to pay with paypal at check out. It also helps us tracks the shipping addresses easier.

Thanks everyone.

Sharon, we were trying to keep it uniform and easier to sort at this time, so we did not offer darker shirts. Colors and different cuts.. IE the Women's cut shirt cost more. With all of the different prices, we thought it may get confusing.

Edited to add- Update: We're working on the design on black now and kinda like it. But, the cost would be higher to compensate for the price difference.

*** Though we were just going to go with white before, we have had several requests for darker t-shirt colors. These have been added due to increased demand.

The darker colors cost a little more on our end, so the price is higher. If interested, they can also be ordered here.

Thank you to everyone who ordered T-shirts, note cards, or made donations for the fundraiser for Teri and Eric.

T-shirt and note card orders will be put in tonight. The printing company is showing 1 week to print. They will be shipped in bulk for us to sort. We will then ship out. We’re figuring 2-3 weeks for shipping. Orders to Europe will probably take on the longer side since we’re based in the states.

We plan on doing a few more things to try to help them out.

3- We will be doing an auction and selling raffle tickets. Due to the timing of both the US and Canadian Nationals and allowing time for artists to complete paintings for the fundraiser, we’ve decided to postpone the auction until after the Nationals. ***Keep an eye out for more information. 

according to facebook posts, she should have had her staples out yesterday, so i hope that happened and she's feeling better. Sounds like Eric is still in a lot of pain and having trouble resting, but hopefully they'll be able to find something to help him get some relief and some sleep.

Update from Teri today:
Happy Monday to all. I thought I'd give a brief update on how things are going with Eric and I. This morning I had a follow-up appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon. The good news is I will eventually heal and should be as good as new. The bad news is, I have not 1, but 2 fractures to my pelvis and will need to stay off my feet for another 4 to 6 weeks. I was hoping to be able to go back to work next week so we are trying to find a solution for the pain of "sitting" on a broken a$$.
Eric goes back to his surgeon in 2 weeks to see how his scapula is healing. That seems to be giving him the most pain. If there isn't any noticeable improvement they will have to discuss a surgical solution. His biggest challenge is trying to sleep sitting up. Neither of us are sleeping very well.
Our wonderful friend Donna Hudson (Orion Drulzelot) spent a week here with us making all kinds of yummy meals and stocking our freezer. She was a real Angel for taking a leave of absence from her studies just to care for us. There have been other offers from our friends to come stay with us, and we are so very thankful.....but we have decided that it's best for us to get back to as much of a normal life as we can.
Our spirits are lifted every afternoon when we go to the mailbox and find all of your Get Well cards. God was with us that day 2 weeks ago, and he continues to stay with us through your many prayers, well wishes and healing thoughts.

Such good news and thanks for the update, Michelle! Terri, you've both have been in my prayers :) Newfie love, hugs and kisses.
