Fritz isn't the only one who is lonely...

We finally have another Newf in the family. After being on a wait list for 2 long years, my mom was offered a beautiful male newf pup named Loki. My parents have been newfless since 2007, and so far this little guy has been taking it easy on them. He’s been sleeping through the night, no accidents on the floor and very well behaved around their 12 year old pekingese. As soon as Loki gets adjusted to his new home he will start training to be a companion at our local nursing home. I haven’t introduced him to Ella yet. At 2 years old Ella still acts like a puppy herself and I want to give Loki sometime to adjust. Does anyone have any advice for how to make their introduction a safe and pleasent experience?
