Ford Flex - Newfiemobile...?

I saw the new Ford Flex the other day and I was intrigued. A cross between a station wagon and a van - a perfect Newfmobile? Has anyone checked them out yet? Thoughts...?

My daughter, who has two Newfs, bought a Flex a couple of months ago and loves it. Lots of cargo space that isn't cramped by sloping tail gates and door openings or windows that you find on most SUVs and minivans. Great for fitting a Newf sized crate in them.

They aren't real mini-van looking either. I find them interesting and a future possibility when I move on from the War Wagon (Chrysler Aspen, HEMI, gas guzzling, tricked out, SUV)

I guess what caught my eye is that it's like a mini Suburban, which is what we have now (and love). But, since the Flex sits lower to the ground, I can clearly see eliminating any type of ramp, or in our case, the Otto Step. We like having room in our vehicles so we're hesitant to look at anything smaller than our Suburban, especially since we know there will be a third Newf in our future. But, I know, eventually, we'll have to consider something smaller. Right now I'm just trying to hear the pros and cons...and start comparing.

Actualy we have been looking at the flex as well, as an option when our lease runs out early next year. I also like how much room there is, & it is low enough for any dog to easily get in & out.

Well, with 5 Newfs, I am looking at the Chevy Express extended cargo van. They won't all fit in my Jeep Cherokee anymore..... I was thinking about just getting the cargo version, and then putting LineX on the vehicle bed. That way I can just hose it down when it needs cleaning...... I just don't want to get the van in white......
