First swim of the year this weekend

Wash

Which is pretty amazing since everything wet in MN is generally frozen a couple feet thick at this time of the year. Went to our place up north and got some swimming in while it was so nice.

And a couple of a dirty baby.

Your baby is adorable! Nice shots! Not only have none of my newfs gone into the water, but the berners I had wouldn't even consider it!

How fun!! Does your Berner swim too? Or does she just like frolicking on the edge (which is adorable!)? I'm so glad you let your beautiful baby play in the dirt! She's beautiful, and she is totally loving her pop-a-wheelies!!

The Berner will swim but she mostly just wades, she mostly just doesnt want to be left behind with whatever Wash is doing. The baby is enjoying the heck out of the warm weather. Whole new worlds (outside) are out there to learn about.

Ditto! Ross only cares for water that has a bunch of dirt mixed in it (mud ;) ). He might wade a little, but never ever would he let his feet float off the lake bottom. He panicked big time when we even attempted to help him learn at a water training seminar. Ross is ALL mountain dog!

This weather has been amazing! So glad you were able to let your puppers enjoy it!

Looks like everybody had fun. Love the pictures!

This has been an amazing winter and spring for fun things to do outside. My gang has been in swimming already too. Last year at this time the lakes were all ice covered. Enjoy!

Love the pictures. A friend of mine breeds Berners and sometimes I grab a dog. Only one out of many liked the Water - Trivia. She even jumped off a boat when I asked her. Loved that little Trivy. One we had Valley would sit on shore and watch my husband when he was in the water - like she was on duty.
