Finally-- Met other Newfs in N.O.!

After two years and many dog-related events without encountering a single Newfy in the New Orleans area .. today we met TWO.. and it turns out they're from Obie's breeder.

Our breeder had told us they had a couple of dogs in the area, but we'd never managed to get any contact information. Now Obie has "shared digits" with his 5-yr-old "cousins" Boss & Tina and there may be a play date in our future.

Sorry about the quality.. my tired 3g iPhone handed off to a stranger. But, I knew I had to capture this first-time newf encounter here! :allg069:

Emmie Lou.. I also got wind of another Newf who was getting groomed last weekend at a little pet "boutique" near my house. I'm such a stalker I left my business card and a note with an invitation for a playdate. The store owner says the dog's owner was interested so we'll see. Obie may soon have at a handful of Newf friends close by.
