Hi, my 5 year old, healthy Newf boy just started drooling a lot today. His chest is all wet, and front legs. It is not slime drool or foam, at all. Everything else is normal. No stomach issues. Big appetite. Walked fine. Acting fine. It is like the saliva is being made but not swallowed fast enough, it is all coming out of his cheek flap at the bottom of the fold. He is swallowing a lot. He just ate a full dinner, I threw in a gas x just in case. Won't hurt. Why would he suddenly not be able to keep up with his saliva?
Thanks a lot in advance. -Michelle
He has not eaten anything different, at all.
