Emma Passed!!

My sweet baby girl earned her Canine Good Citizen today! She and I have worked so hard for this and I am so PROUD of her! She has come so far in such a short time from the exuberant pulling puppy that I thought would never understand it was not a race to meet every new person or dog she came across. She still wants to be everyone's friend but has learned to do it in a respectful manner with sitting before anyone pets her. I don't usually even have to ask her to sit now.. She figured out the quickest way to meet someone is to sit and wait and they will come to her

Thanks guys! That is the plan Summer but that will take a little longer. There is an excellent dog training club here locally and that is where we plan on heading next. They also do testing for TDI as well as rally, fly ball and others. I am very proud of my girl but I know we still have a lot of work do and Emma is still very young.
