Dryer

Do you guys recommend getting a professional-strength dryer? We're moving into a house on the beach next week and I think it might be a good investment. I've also heard it's good to use when they're shedding heavily. Does anybody have a brand they recommend? Thanks!

In one extremely emphatic word: YES!

After the dog and obedience school it is by far the best investment we've made related to the little monster. And if you're by the beach you'll appreciate that much more ... it will severly cut down on the sand dunes that form around your house!

I have the Double K Airmax and I love it but I've never tried anything else.

YES..I would DEFINATELY recommend you get a heavy duty dryer..especially being near the beach. I have the circuiteer 11 for my guys and love it. It is without a doubt the best investment I have made as far as doggy accessories go. I have also heard the Metro Master Blaster is a good one too and may be a bit less expensive.

We live by the beach too...and the answer is YES! Not only will you have a wet dog every day, but you'll have a sandy dog too! We have a Circuiteer II...in green, I might add! ;)

You guys are so helpful! Thank you very much. I'll have to add that to my ever-growing list of things to get Byron.

I sure wish I would've gotten my dryer sooner!
Love it, won't live without one LOL
I have the Double K Airmax, two speeds, quieter than some of the others.

We use a cattle dryer that has a mister also. Works great for shows where we just want to fluff them up.

I have a CURCITEERII which is the same as teh K9-II. I love it. It gets the dog dry in the short time of any of them. Also have Double K Airmax 2000 that I use for shows which I also really like. I had ametor but it didn't stand up to the use.

Wouldn't be without one...after a bath this summer, we thought we would let Max air dry for a change...big mistake
After all, a slight breeze, warm day...well, the next day he was finally dry! Never again will we do that!! I have a metro - also helps with blowing out loose hair...
