Draft work: New Pen Del/ Colonial workshops?

Has anyone heard if New Pen Del or the Colonial Newf club will be holding any draft seminars in the fall when things cool down a little.. say around the end of September? I could not find anything on their sites.

Thus far, I have only been able to train with the Greater Swiss Mountain dogs in northern MD. Their test is different from the Newf test, so at this point getting in an actual Newfie practice session would be wondeful. :)

The CNC is currently not scheduling a draft workshop. We WERE invited by two Bernese Mountain Dog clubs to participate in their training sessions.

Emails with the information went out 2 or 3 weeks back on the CNC Member's mailing list. Let me know if you can find it; I MAY be able to dig up the original email if you can't find the one from the CNC. I was the original point of contact for the BMD draft work.

I was talking to Dwight through Email and he had no current contacts/ scheduled practices he could advise me of for drafting this fall. I'll look back through my Emails to see if I can find anything.

I have not been able to find a contact for New Penn Del yet... and don't see anything currently listed on their site either... think I'm going to PM Diane or Patti.

When we worked with the Greater Swiss Mt. Dogs, there test is a little different than the newf test. I would assume the same for the Berners. I was hoping to work with someone who had done a newfie test. I even offered my place for a practice if we had a willing instructor. The go-kart trails would be great for freight pull.

I'm getting an official copy of the "rules" to see what I can do. I don't know if Trish may be able to help us out in the fall. I know she was training Robbie on drafting.
