Michelle I am so sorry your foot is acting up. Take care of yourself as much as the gang lets you.

Newfobsessed I'm so glad you will be coming with Gabe. We can learn together.

Well.. I am looking to be there.. will probably be late though. The coordinator said that would be Ok.. get there when I can.

I don't get home until late and it is 2 hr for me. So.. going to bed at 12-2A and being out of the house at 6-6:30A us almost impossible. :( I figure I have the rest of the weekend to let the foot recoop. I am trying to get to as many trainings as possible before weather gets hot.

I just wanted to thank everyone involved in the Draft Clinic. The Great Swiss owners, dogs and helpers could not have been more wonderful. It was a fantastic time, and especially meeting my NN friends and their gorgeous babies. made it an experience to long cherish.

I couldn't agree more Lisa. It was a wonderful clinic! Thanks for telling us about is Sharon. The folks were very friendly. They welcomed in the 4 newfs there like they were GSMD. I learned a lot of information. Now we just have to practice. :)

They did surprise me on the way out. Though it could not be used toward the newf draft title as the GSMD can get a title from a Newf competion, they asked me to bring Sadie back to do a trial next month! They said they would love to have us back and it would be great practice in prep. for the newf test since there are only slight differences. I was surprised they felt she did that well. We only started carting in mid Feb! The seminar was the first Sadie had worked half of those exercises and we had to do them all offlead. We had not done any work offlead up until then.

Me personally, I think we need lots of practice before attempting a trial. Her focus was really off more than I liked with all of the destractions. I think they have more confidence in us than I. :)

OUCH! Wished I knew earlier...
I'm so sorry you missed it. If it happens again, we were told we would be advised and I'm sure someone will be posting it here. I don't want to miss the next one!!! You'll have to come!! You'll be so happy you did!

I'm so glad you both could make it. I hope you can come next time Brad.

Michelle, let me know if you decide to do the trial. I'd love to come if I can and watch. The people there couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. We had a great time too and two very tired pups by the end of the day. When we tried the mock trial, Kilrain was so tired I had to cheat and use treats to get him to stand up.

Sadie looked lovely and I'm so glad you kept the flowers on the cart. It looks great! Sadie as always made it all look easy.

It was so nice getting to meet Lisa and Gabe. He is a gorgeous big boy and really took to the carts.

The newfies all did great and Jim sent me an email afterwards encouraging us to keep with it.

Thanks again for coming. It made it more fun to have the other newfies there.
