When will people learn that dogs WANT to drive...they just dont get much practice!

ST. JAMES, N.Y. — A dog left inside a running van put the vehicle in drive, causing it to crash into a Long Island coffee house.
Suffolk County police say no one was injured in the incident, which damaged the glass window and some patio furniture at Cool Beanz coffee shop in St. James.
Police say a 60-year-old Port Jefferson resident left the van running while he went into the shop. His dog, Bentley, somehow knocked the controls.

Ei Yi Yi... I would never leave a dog in a running vehicle. Too much can happen accidentally. That certainly was an expensive way to learn a lesson!

And the dog jumped out and went, "Ta-da!"

I drive standard, so if my dog somehow managed to release the handbrake and work the clutch to put it in neutral i'm pretty safe, although i never do leave my dog in the car unattended.

Apache is my wanna be driver, but I always tell him he's still too young to get his license.:LMAO: He did manage to lock all the doors once when I ran up to my friends house to borrow a couple of eggs. Of course it wasn't running but I'd left the keys in it, luckily Shannon was at our house a couple of miles away as were Allens set of Durango keys. :grrr:
