I saw Jeannie mention Dog Gone Pain in another thread and was wondering how many other people use this supplement, and what results if any you have seen.

We've been giving it to Max for the last couple months (since the arthritis diagnosis) along with Springtime joint health and it seems to be helping. He's no puppy again, but a definite improvement. Last week when he was at the groomer, he could still get around enough to go to the petstore afterwards and wasn't so stiff the next day that he needed help getting up. In fact, he had practically no trouble the next day.
As long as this works for him, it means we can keep him off the prescriptions.

I use it for Owen, and a friend uses it on their arthritic dog as well. Owen is about 135 and he gets two tabs twice a day.

I tried it for Bailey after my friend's lab had a "miracle". For Viv, it seriously made a huge difference. For Bailey, it made her a little less stiff but not enough to justify. So we went with ARTH9 and are super happy.

Arth 9 was recommended by my holist, or maybe by Marina Zacharias, in combination with drynaria. The drynaria did nothing for Bailey but the Arth 9 has really been godsend to poor princess old bones. Don't get me wrong, she's still stiff when it rains but definitely gets up much easier, runs and body twists and can walk for very long periods. Before, not so much.

Here's a link to a research monograph. There's lots more information on the web if you want. arth 9

If you decide to buy some, get it at Bayho. They are the cheapest by far.

I've been using Dog Gone Pain on Dudley since October. At first I didn't think it did any good.............till I ran out of it and couldn't get any for over 2 weeks. Wow, he definately missed it and it was amazing to see how it improved him once I got more.
I give 3 in the morning and 2 in the evening, he's about 175 lb.

I used to use it for Murphy, our 85 lb Golden. He got two a day...and it worked wonders for him.

We don't use it now, but I'd definitely use it again for an arthritic dog.

We use it for Timmy. He is 145 pounds. We give him 3 in the am. He has torn ACLs in both his back knees, because of his SAS he can't have surgery. But he walks with my husband and Wilbur every day, somedays they go 2 miles, somedays they go less, but I don't think Timmy could do it without the dog gone pain.

Where do you buy this product? I have a 13 1/2 year old lab with bad arthritis and I'm always looking for something besides what he takes to try, sound promising.

Google it. And then look at different links for the best price.

Don't get it from the manufacturer. It's double what you'll pay elsewhere.
