hi all, I am very new to this site. I have a 12 week old female Newfie 'Gracie" She is adorable..and full of life, and energy! Yikes! A couple of things.
#1 She Pees in her crate at night. I am now trying to walk her at midnight and then 5 am, hopefully, that will STOP, as she rolls in it, and stinks the next day. I bathe her everyday becasue of this. Breeder says no good...stop, because of her coat, but I think that pee on the coat is worse. Crate not too big. Also, a long, long walk yesterday, after her meal...comes right in and poops in her usual spot..on the rug! HELP!!
#2 No matter how many baths, she kind of has this odor. Th vet said it was her ears, and cleaned them out. Any recommendations on ear cleaners. The vet was maybe 16 alright, I'm exaggeratng, but very young. Will see a new one next time.
#3 She is very good with me, but quite ill-mannered with the kids. She bites my 4 yar old's clothes, and sometimes skin too! Jumps up on the table to eat their food etc. I firmly tell her no, and push her down, but she is so hyper, that she just does it again. I hate to sond like I am complaining. She is so cute, and I love he
r so much, I just don't want a 150 lb Newfie doing this stuff!
Thanks!
