Darwin is so sweet, I can't stand it!

A few months ago I had an ingrown toenail fixed on my left foot. It's been long enough that said toe is now grown back--and ingrown again (TMI, i know.. but it's important) and now is very painful, and infected.

Darwin has come over several times today, sniffed my foot, and tried to lick at my toe. I'm not letting him do it, because it's gross, and the last thing I need is for him to get the infected bacteria in his mouth. But, seriously, he's so worried about my toe, it is KILLING ME!

Yup, Newfs are the best booBoo fixer's. When I had my stroke, they all lived in the bed with me, and would not go anywhere unless it was to tinkle or eat (in our house, eating is the most important part of the day). I guess they like their Snackies.

Today, I just heard about a dog that kept sniffing his owners freckle. The owner got it checked and it was skin cancer.
