I was looking into a "Newf specific" diet developed by William Cusick

was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it??

I reviewed his book on the Newf diet http://www.hannibalkennels.on.ca/articles/reviews/2005_07.htm .

While I credit him with being the first to write about the concept of "ancestral diet" (although he didn't coin or use the term), his practical application of the concept is not impressive.

Thanks Peter - i have been reading through a number of posts/threads and i am trying to fiugre out what supplements i should be giving Sampson and Bella (16 months and 8 months old) in addition to their current diet (Canidae) i m getting a little confused with all the "advice" out there - thanks again

We attempted to cook this diet for Iz in the beginning. I agree with Peter - I LOVE the idea of home cooking and doing something more ancestral - but some of the ingredients were a bit odd, and it was tough to keep up with it.
