Its hard to tell why the vet did not mention it, I have to do my Landseer's glands every 2 weeks,my vet said it won't do any harm to clean them out like that, you can tell by the odor, Belle actually takes a stance when its time to do it so out come the gloves, ky and shampoo..........Where did you see a post about that?
