Chicken necks

Is it ok to give the babes a chicken neck as a treat with there kibble?If so do I take away some kibble at meal time and use it as a topper or give it mid day as a treat. Just trying to add some variety to their diet.

We give our girls turkey necks a couple times a week. Since they try and eat so fast I worry about them trying to swallow the chicken necks whole and choking on them. They have to chew on the bigger turkey ones. We get them at a natural dog food store. They love them and very good for their teeth too.

I feed raw and just converted everyone over. I was told by my breeder, that kibble and raw digest at different rates, and it's not a good idea to feed kibble and raw together. Kibble for one meal raw for another. That way there is no digestion problems.
