Carting and or Draft in the Northeast

Dear Listers,

Do any of you know of carting and or draft classes in the NE? I reside in NH. Or are any of you located in the NE and do carting/draft with your dogs? I would love to get together with someone who may have some experience with either, as I have none. TIA, Sue

NCNE is planning on having a draft workshop in the spring.

I met someone at the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club's Greenfield, MA area) obedience classes who are into drafting. Even build carts too. Their kennel doesn't have a website, but their email is: ridgerunkennel@aol.com. They may be able to give you some information too. It's Ridge Run Kennels in Orange, MA. Good luck.

Hi Sue,
Just wanted to say hello. I live in Northern VT and was so excited to see someone from NH. We're picking our puppy up in 3 weeks and are very excited. I would also be interested in learning more about draft work and carting as well as water trials. I know there is nothing happening in VT,,If you find something in NH will you post it please...NH is doable for me.... Thanks

The Newf Club of New England's Draft Workshop is being held Saturday, June 7, 2003 in Westford, MA. There are hotels in the area but not sure if they take dogs.
Then in October, we'll be having a draft match- also in Westford, MA. The following March (2004) will be a draft test in Vermont.
