Canidae Chicken and Rice

All this recall stuff going on is terrible!!! I think our food is next!!

I opened a new bag of Chicken and Rice and for some reason.....Brinks would not touch it. Sniff it and walk away only to go back after an hour and then eat some of it not all of it...did this for 2 days in a row. Just to play it safe....I went back to the plain Canidae All Life Stages. He couldn't eat it fast enough. Maybe he was just bored with the other flavor?....I don't know.... but I was NOT going to take any chances. Anyone else have this issue?

I keep checking their website, but these days, who the heck knows? How long had he been on the chicken and rice? Canidae says they use NO glutens in their feeds and I haven't heard of the tainted component being anything other than wheat and rice glutens. But, I'm like you...take no chances. Until this is all sorted out, my dogs are fed almost 100% raw with only a small amount of kibble.

No problems with mine eating the Canidae chick. and rice here.

I feed Sam the chicken and rice and have no problems. All their ingredients are from the US--they don't use any imported ingredients in their foods. All ingredients are also HUMAN grade.

They do not use any type of gluten in their foods.
