Went camping in the adirondacks last weekend for 4 days. We took Moya with us and she did great! She was extremely obedient and we only kept her on a leash when going for a walk on the street. This is the same campground as the one in my avatar. That was about 2 or 3 years ago. Madigan stayed home as she is not a good traveler.
Sharing cookies...my son has this habit of putting food in her mouth and letting her take a lick and then taking it back to take his own bite. Yuck, I know. She is extremely gentle when he does this. I have a whole series of these pics but I think one is enough here.
Moya got a lot fo swim time in. It was difficult to find a good place for her to enter as the shore was very rocky but this spot worked out well. There was sort of a natural rock staircase.
Forgot to add...I had more than one person tell me they were glad to have seen her during the day because at night they would have assumed there was a black bear in the camp. LOL We brought packs of those glow necklaces for the kids at nighttime but we used some of them as necklaces for Moya because we couldn't even see her at night. Made it a lot easier to be aware of where she was. Not that she was going to go anywhere but it kept us from tripping over her LOL.
We're off again tomorrow to OBX. No dogs though, we've got a sitter staying over.
