Any advice, eh? (And thus I reveal my citizenship...) I would advise against becoming an obnoxious fan of the Patriots, Red Sox, or Bruins. Ok, all kidding aside, Boston is an incredible city and I hope to visit it again soon. I've only been there once and saw only a small portion of it. I wish you the best of luck but can't offer much in the way of advice. I suspect most the previous insight is still valid.can't believe all this time has passed since i started this thread and since then we didn't relocate to MA but did move to Scotland.
we are NOW moving to MA late in the summer and expect to live in Somerville or Brookline
any advice appreciated

Hey I’m working in Lexington and my wife in Burlington. Commutes not the worst really typically 30 mins or so. We are living in a pet friendly apartment building which is very nice and most importantly accepted a newf and a GSD and was accessible for the big guy who won’t walk on most surfaces he deems slippy, won’t do stairs and won’t do elevators!! We have a covered parking garage (great for snow days) and he can go up the ramps to our floor. I’ve not had a chance to get into the sports yet as its been such a whirlwind since moving here but I’m sure I’ll be a Pats fan!! I’m going to my first Bruins game in 2 weeks can’t wait!! We love life here and its such a great city, was at the Southy Parade on Sunday. The dogs are loving it too and people tend to be quite dog friendly and Charlie as always is such a novelty when they see himHi Eddie,
Glad to hear all is going well! Are you working in Boston or locally? Hope your commute (if you have one) hasn't been too bad! House or apartment? Dogs adapting well?
Hope you have become a Pats fan, as it looks like they may be better this season! Otherwise, in your case it would be unIrish to not be a fan! LOL!
Can you tell I am a Boston/New England fan???
Keep us posted please!
