I'm getting so excited about the meet in Manchester. Told one of my friends who has 2 Newfs and so we're carpooling with all 3 dogs in the back of her SUV. Hope there's room for the owners. Can't wait to meet you other Newf.netters.

ROM Newf,

Have you ever seen any "hostilities" between the newfs at any events? I am talking about the Fun Days at Eliot or Westford. I haven't.

Torydog,

Linda's suggestion was great! Leave the hubby home.

Seriously though, you might hear a couple of growls, but they are handler controlled. I've not seen any serious misbehavior at fun days events.

Hopefully, I won't be eating my words

I've heard a couple growls from time to time but as Sue said, the dogs were under control of their owners and it was nipped in the bud before it could escalate.
Looks like no snow on Sunday which is great!

I keep hearing about a "wintry mix" Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Like I said before, I will do something bad if I can't get to the CFB on Sunday.

But, we do know that meteorologists lie!!!!! :D :D

Sue
PS. No offense to any meteorologist out there! Just kidding about the lying.

Please don't say that Sue (wintery mix)!! If it's snowing I'm staying home or I'll have to take the "little car" which only fits 1 or 2 dogs but no crates. Really don't like driving with loose dogs in the car. Could always leave the dogs home but Anne P and some others wanted to see Dale now that he is maturing (albeit slowly). Hmmmm. If I leave him home, I won't have to spend Saturday giving him a bath so that would be a plus too. We'll just have to pray for good weather.

Brady and Tim are not getting baths! They don't smell bad though :D .Maybe we should leave them home.

My husband is going, but he would rather stay at home. I am not telling him that there is a husband (or 2) staying home.

Pat,
Don't feel you have to bathe Brady or Tim because you don't and don't leave them home! Bring them! I want to meet them (and you) in person. We had a warm spell here this week- temps actually were in the high 40s and our frozen ground turned into MUD! And Dale had a ball in the MUD! If it weren't for the mud, he wouldn't be getting a bath either.

Pat,

No way, Jose! Bring those little darlin' furheimers!! Don't even think about leaving them home!

Believe it or not, this is NOT a beauty pageant. If it were, I would be disqualified before I got there! :D :D
