Boum and ducky

We had a long weekend here in Ontario Canada so we headed up to our hometown. I.e. Boum's favourite place on earth. By the third day he was just too tired to actually jump in and save his ducky.... so..... he used this approach instead.....

Boum calling to his ducky.... heeere ducky ducky ducky....

waiting for it.... coming a little closer.....

Soooo close he can almost taste it......

It is the young Newf who immediately jumps in for the rescue. It is the wise Newf who takes a second to analyze the situation:

• Is Ducky in immediate danger?
• What alternatives to a water based rescue are available?
• Is time of the essence?

Obviously Boum ran through the list and decided a dock based rescue was the best option. Besides how else would he end up in some fantastic photos?

Oh, this made me laugh! We have a Boum voice and I can just picture him saying what you wrote in his Boum voice LOL

Yup, it's a floating duck butt that fits in one of those chuck it launchers. It is too big for him to swallow, so it works well.
