Bitches and fighting

I've been told that some will fight to the death while males tend to end things quickly.

Just like humans then? :lol: I'm thinking of how men may come to blows and then enjoy a drink later. Women may not escalate as easily but it's not over as quickly either.

Although Athena and Aurora were only together for 15 short months, they never fought. Neither were spayed and maybe had a squabble once or twice over food, but truly loved eachother. Not sure if this was just directed at Newfies, but I also have 3 female Cairn Terriers, all spayed. I will say that my oldest of the three is the alpha and will let that be known to the others. I've never had to separate them, but I've learned how to deal w/ her and let her know I'm alpha over her.
