I hope someone else has an actual pattern for you. I've been making bibs for almost 9 years. What I do is measure how wide it should be (add a few inches for a male) and how long it should be - I use my newf and get a rough estimate. I end up with a fat rectangle. Then I fold it in half length-wise and I cut the bottom corners off- rounding it and then at the top I cut from the fold over to the edge (again rounding it) then I open it and voila my bib. I add a decal of a newf head or a paw etc and then I put binding all around leaving the ends about 12 inches long to tie around the neck.
Is any of this helping? I have quilted them, used flannel, terry cloth you name it. Have fun!

I had someone here make me two bibs, two terri cloth on one side and material with a Newf on the other, they had an elastic strap to fit over the head. I still have them but I can't remember who I bought them from here. They definitely came from here though.

I ordered one online and then sort of used it as a guide for the others I've made. While none of mine are quite as "professional" as the one I ordered, they serve the purpose.. catching drool and providing a quick towel when it is needed! I even made one using a Saints/Fleur de lis t-shirt with an old towel as the backing!
