Okay, I admit, my life has officially gone to the dogs! How do I know this??? Well, Jason got me the best birthday gift ever. After lots of teasing by Jason (he spent 2 weeks telling me he got me an awesome gift...but wouldn't leak a single hint) I finally got to open my present...ready....a Booster Bath!!! This is the best pet care invention ever!
I have always taken Jack to the groomers and now that we have Macy (who seems to need a bath every week) I have been coveting a booster bath. Bathing Macy in the tub was a chore, and the last 4 times I've bathed her, I've sat on a bucket in the driveway and used the hose. Kinda tough holding Macy and bathing her at the same time...not to mention I'd be soaked from head to toe. After a weekend of sitting the in-laws dog Laddie, Macy was crust from head to tail. Crust caked with dirt from spending nearly every minute in the yard wrestling and playing with Laddie. It was a great opportunity to use the booster bath. I put her in it and 15 minutes later she was done, my back wasn't hurting and I wasn't soaked. What an amazing tool!! The hose wand that comes with it is fabulous. I was able to get Macy soaked to the skin in no time (not an easy feat with that newfie fur). I was able to clean her ears out really good too. What a difference having her elevated made.
We just finished the fencing too...I have spent many hours in the past few weeks staining the 280 feet of split rail fence, and on Friday we got the last of the wire up so the dogs have no way to escape. It was great watching Jack, Macy, and Laddie playing all weekend, without feeling like we were on guard duty, shoeing them away from the fence openings the whole time.
Between the new fencing, the Dyson vac I got a few months ago, and the booster bath....my fave is the Booster bath...hands down! I highly recommend it!
