Isn't the first one about the lady who caused a ruckuss here a while back? She wanted to breed her own Newf service dogs. I seem to remember the video.

The video with Max isn't her (Dollyboons). She randomly causes problems on other Newf groups on FB, so I'm still (unfortunately) familiar with her. Her Newf pup's name is Shellbea (a heavily ticked Landseer) and she had another pup named Mookie (black), but got rid of it because it's bite was "off" and replaced it with another one (also black)...the name of which escapes me right now.

Thanks for answering the question. I guess she just posted that video with one of her posts...

The vidoe with Max is not Becky (dolly boons) nor has she ever posted it. She does have a bitch named Shellbea, a year old now, and a beautiful bodied landseer. She does have ticking on her legs....if that is what you mean by "heavily"...Mookie, the black girl, had a congenital anomoly with her teeth.. It was not the bite...some did not come in. She was placed in a wonderful home and they see her regularly. She attended Shellbeas birthday party. She has also acquired a gorgeous male, "Shadrach" from Hungary... You will be seeing him in the show ring soon....by the way..both her children are Jr handlers and have been very successful in the ring..with Shellbea...the one you call heavily ticked.. It occurs to me if you are bothered by Becky, why don't you block her? She is a very good friend of mine, and a nice person. do you even know her?? Just wanted to answer B Coles question ...(smile)

Julie, I don't care. Sorry, but I just don't. Nothing I said in my original post was incorrect, other than the bite being off on Mookie. So, sorry...it had a congenital tooth defect (I'm guessing the front 2 bottoms were dropped? Who the heck knows.). She and her husband DO randomly cause problems on other Newf groups, they DO have 2 Newfs and they DID get rid of another one previously, for cosmetic reasons. (BTW: What you call "placed" or they call "rehomed" I call, "got rid of".)

And so what if I described her Newf as "heavily ticked"? She is heavily ticked. I happen to actually like heavy ticking on Landseers. I also like gay tails. Neither qualities are particularly desirable in the show ring, but whatever. Describing Shellbea as heavily ticked was just that, a description, not a put-down. So...

Back to the topic of Peter's post. Finis.

yorkville (Kristen)... This whole issue with Becky has a history, which you may or may not know... Gad does not like conflict up here, or blasting people.. Your whole post was negative, and the tone was hateful.. You don't even know Becky... If you 'don't care' then don't be hurtful to people you don't know , that is all...it is a herd mentality to post something that negative that was uncalled for..for instance...'got rid of' infurs that no care was given in the placing of.....and no one cared about the dog as an individual....that is totally incorrect in this case.. I DO know...Becky's goal from the beginning was to show....and she has done that.As to her causing trouble....the "which came first, the chicken or the egg" applys...It is too bad that Becky got off on the wrong foot with the newf community initially...which I do not fault her for..and....If you come after her, she can dish it out right back...true....we are all different in this world...Newfs are an inhancement to who we are...not WHO we are...A little bit of the golden rule and kindness goes a long way...Try it some time.

Julie, I know enough of her and I know the history. I said nothing inflammatory, nothing derogatory and nothing I said was inaccurate. Like I said, back to the topic of Peter's post. And FYI...I'm not getting into a peeing match with anyone regarding this. So this is the last I'll respond to you or Jon or Becky or anyone else that cares to attempt to turn this into one...the party's over. FINIS.

You are certainly free to do whatever you want....I just think being 'nice' wins out in the end,,,,,never hurts anyone. And I agree with you...this never should have gotten off Peters informative post in the first place....good luck to you.

First of all, I am sorry that I started an off topic discussion. You should perhaps know that there are several people in my immediate family with mental illness. Because of this, I have problems with people who I see as reinforcing negative stereotypes of people with mental conditions...

Love the video's, Thank you for posting....I am working with an agoraphobic lady at present and we have found her a very settled rescue newfie. She has given her a lot of confidence......LOL, she wanted Katy. We really did not have to do a lot of work with this lady and newfie. we are just having some trouble with her small town shops accepting the large Assistance dog with someone who does not seem disabled. But luckily we have the law on our side ........
