Hagrid is a very energentic, playful 7 month old. If he sees something he'll bolt and make a run for it. we can't believe how fast he can go from a standstill into a run and he's fast. In the last 3 weeks he's developed a limp on his right paw. It's difficult because he will run fine, jump ok. Roll around with us and play, but just when he walks he will limp. I have checked his paws carefully and his legs and thighs. He will let me massage him and squeeeeeze his paws to see if he is in pain but he shows no pain. When he comes across another dog or person he will go into this mode where he will be focused and walk very straight and I noticed he doesn't limp at that time. But then as soon as he starts to do his normal trot he starts to limp. I hate going to the vets you always come out 800 dollars poorer and they just say don't walk him. Right that works well, let him out the front door and he runs himself, very funny. If I don't take him even for a slow short walk he'll whine all evening! That high pitch long whine with the exasperated grunt. Any one have any suggestions I can try or do to help him I would like to try everything I can before I go to the vet because he doesn't seem to be in any pain, or should I just go to the vet right away.?
